StableLight Aircraft Configuration Survey

This helicopter configuration survey ensures compatibility of the StableLight 4-axis autopilot system with your specific aircraft. Complete and submit per aircraft. We'll route it directly to your Precision Aircraft Services sales contact.

3. Installation Prerequisites

The following Airbus Helicopters modifications must be embodied prior to installation. Check those already complied with on this aircraft.

4. System Requirements — Aircraft Status

For each subsystem, indicate the current state of your aircraft. Choose "Existing" if already installed, "New / part of STC kit" if planned as part of the install, or "Unknown" if you're not sure.

RADALT 1 FreeFlight RA 4500 · Garmin GRA 55 / 5500 · Thales AHV 16 · BendixKing KRA 405B. STC includes approved design data for Garmin or FreeFlight RADALT install.
(AD)AHRS 2 Two independent sources. Approved: Garmin GSU 75 ADAHRS, GRS 79 AHRS, or GRS 77 AHRS (if GRS 77, second AHRS must be different model). STC kit includes 1× GRS 79.
Magnetometer Min. 1 Garmin GMU 44 (minimum 1 on #1 AHRS). 1 included in STC kit.
Air data 1 Garmin ADC GDC 74 or Garmin ADAHRS GSU 75
Audio panel 1 One direct audio input available on audio panel.
Heading error source 1 Garmin GDU 620 / GDU 1060, or BendixKing KI 525 HSI. KI 525 requires an additional switching relay and MD41 (included in STC design data).

Radio Altimeter installation kit Required if aircraft is not already equipped with a Radio Altimeter. Includes RADALT unit.

Install services Additional aircraft assessment required. PAS will schedule and perform the installation.

Prefabricated wire harness Partially terminated wire harness — reduces install time.

Vertical reference window installed in floor beside pilot seat?

6. Aircraft Photos

Please submit the following photos with this survey. They help us pre-confirm fit and identify any obstructions before quoting.

Clear, well-lit image of the existing cyclic handle and switches.
Both pilot and co-pilot (if dual control) collective handles, full length.
Wherever you'd like the control panel installed. Note: control-panel dimensions are 5.69"W × 2.93"H × 6.41"L.
Helps with LRU location planning. Optional but appreciated.

Your survey will be submitted directly to Mark Tyler (VP / General Manager — Peachtree City) at Precision Aircraft Services, an authorized dealer and installation facility for the Thales / StandardAero StableLight system. You'll receive a written response, typically within two business days.
